2020 Autumn Equinox News

In a year fraught with much hardship, we find within ourselves boundless hope and gratitude. We know the only approach is forging ahead with conviction and remaining inspired by the humanity and community that surrounds us. We believe in our hearts that as vintners, we have the honor and responsibility to connect our members to the power, peace, beauty, and serenity of the ADAMVS Estate and its wines. These connections provide such meaning for us, and we hope they do the same for you in difficult times as much as in times of great joy and celebration!

During this Autumnal Equinox, we have the great privilege to turn our hearts and minds to sharing the boundless beauty of the 2016 vintage. Perhaps the most exquisite wines born of the ADAMVS Estate (we know this is a bold statement!) these wines exemplify our tireless efforts in the vineyard, a near perfect harvest season, and the balance of elegance and power that can be attained from carefully-crafted Howell Mountain grapes. If we could change anything at all, it would only be to have more bottles to share!

We were humbled to receive the following review of our 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon ‘ADAMVS’ from Jeb Dunnuck:

 

In the running for the greatest vintage to date at this estate, the inky colored 2016 Cabernet SauvignonADAMVS shows the incredible quality of this terroir as well as the vintage. Awesome notes of crème de cassis,crushed violets, and flowers all soar from the glass and it hits the palate with full-bodied richness and depth.Where the 2015 isn’t holding anything back, this beauty stays more focused and composed, with elegancepaired with restrained power. It has charm even today yet is upwards of a decadeaway from maturity and willbea50-year-wine. Hats off to winemaker Philippe Melka for a sensational, magical wine!
